Assault and outstanding warrant charges
A 21-year-old man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a 25-year-old woman on Tuesday.
Around 7:03 p.m., police received a report of a disturbance at a home on the 100 block of Lorne Avenue.
They arrested the man for assault. He was also on an order to not have contact with the woman. He will appear in court on April 25.

The woman was also arrested as she had an outstanding warrant for a theft-under-$5,000 charge. She will appear in court on March 14.
Theft under $5,000
Two women were arrested in separate shoplifting incidents on Tuesday.
In the first instance, police were called to a business on the 1600 block of 18th Street at 10:14 a.m. The 39-year-old woman allegedly stole $60 worth of merchandise. She will appear in court on March 15.
Then, at 9 p.m., police were called to a business on the 1000 block of Richmond Avenue for a report of a shoplifter.
A 31-year-old woman had allegedly filled up a cart of food items and fled.
Police say she was found with a cart of items valued at $360. She will appear in court on April 25.
