The dogs were lined up on Tuesday at the Neepawa Vet Clinic for the Canadian Animal Blood Bank blood drive. Blood drives are held at the clinic and two other vet clinics in Brandon every three months. Dog owners call ahead and make appointments to bring their dogs in to donate blood, and they are screened for good health beforehand. The blood will go to the bank’s head office in Winnipeg, and from there will be shipped out across the country. (Photos by Miranda Leybourne/The Brandon Sun)
