Hey there, time traveller!

West-Can HR, an employment agency, has teamed up with IntriTech Digital Marketing to develop a new platform to connect businesses and job seekers in the local job market.
Brandon Jobs goes beyond traditional job boards, offering a creative and user-friendly approach to recruitment, West-Can HR co-owner Camilla Timmer told the Sun.
“Working actively in local recruitment, we were tired of the same job-posting websites that didn’t speak to job seekers,” Timmer said. “We wanted something that provided an easy-to-use, visual platform for businesses to showcase what makes them unique.”

By focusing on company culture and the unique aspects of each business, she said, Brandon Jobs aims to answer the crucial question every job seeker asks: “Why should I work for you?” This approach transforms job postings into compelling narratives that attract top talent, she added.
Timmer said the new platform is expected to significantly impact the local job market, becoming the first choice for job seekers and businesses alike.
“We see this platform redefining how local businesses post their positions and becoming the go-to place for job seekers exploring new possibilities,” she said. “By encouraging businesses to create engaging content like videos and photos, the platform provides job seekers with a vivid picture of potential employers.”
IntriTech co-owner Emelio Brown said the platform can handle high traffic and maintain a seamless user experience.
“To handle a high volume of job postings and user traffic, Brandon Jobs leverages a robust cloud hosting infrastructure. This setup provides scalable resources that dynamically adjust to traffic demands,” Brown told the Sun. “Additionally, the platform employs caching mechanisms and other performance enhancements to balance load and accelerate content delivery.”
As the platform grows, maintaining fast loading times and a seamless user experience remains a top priority, he said.
“We continuously monitor and optimize our website’s performance, including regular updates to our server configurations and the use of advanced caching strategies,” Brown said. “These efforts, combined with best practices in web development, ensure the site remains quick and user-friendly.”
Brandon Jobs is not just a tool for job postings, he added. It’s a platform that showcases Brandon as a vibrant community.
For those considering a move to the area, Brown said, “the site features a section highlighting the community’s lifestyle and amenities, emphasizing that finding a job is also about finding a home.”
Timmer added Brandon businesses are encouraged to unleash their creativity on the platform. By sharing team photos, showcasing office vibes and highlighting unique workplace perks, businesses can attract talent that aligns with their vision.
“Whether you’re a local business ready to find your next star employee or a job seeker eager to explore exciting career opportunities, Brandon Jobs is here to connect you,” she said.
