Around 9:05 a.m., Virden RCMP received a report of a collision between an SUV and a farm tractor on Highway 21, just south of Provincial Road 543 in the Rural Municipality of Sifton.
Investigation revealed that the SUV had been stolen from Winnipeg earlier this month and was heading south on Highway 21 when it veered over the centre line and collided head-on with a northbound farm tractor.

The 21-year-old driver of the farm tractor was not injured.
Virden traffic stop leads to seizure of drugs
A 43-year-old man from the Rural Municipality of Wallace-Woodworth is facing drug charges after a traffic stop in Virden last Friday.
Around 9:50 p.m., Virden RCMP conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Nelson Street.
During the officer’s conversation with the driver, the officer noticed what he believed to be illicit tobacco on the front passenger seat.
The driver was arrested and a search of the vehicle revealed eight grams of crystal methamphetamine, 202 grams of cocaine, more than $1,000 in cash, and drug-related paraphernalia.
