BRANDON UNIVERSITY
Mail art specialist Elaine Rounds will present an artist talk on Thursday at the Glen P. Sutherland Gallery of Art at 2021 Victoria Ave. The talk will begin at 7 p.m.
Bria Mele of the University of Calgary will discuss strategies for diagnosing and treating apathy in Parkinson’s Disease in a Science Seminar Series talk on Friday at 2:30 p.m. The talk will take place in Room 4-47 of the Brodie building, and will also be available online. The Bobcats soccer teams will play their final home matches of the regular season, hosting the Assiniboine College Cougars on Sunday. The men will be up first starting at 1 p.m., with the women following at 3:15 p.m. at the Healthy Living Centre.
Brandon University will be closed for Thanksgiving on Oct. 14. The Healthy Living Centre will be open, however. Classes and full services resume on Oct. 15.

The Assiniboine College Students’ Association is hosting a Halloween-themed dodgeball tournament on Oct. 26 in the gym of the Victoria Avenue East Campus from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This event is open to all students and the community, and individuals must register in teams. Participants are welcome to wear their Halloween costumes, however face masks or anything hanging off costumes are prohibited due to safety reasons.
