Brandon city Mayor Jeff Fawcett hosted a hot cocoa and coffee night at City Hall on Monday. The two-hour public event was organized to allow city residents a chance to connect with their councillors.
Mayor Jeff Fawcett said he spoke with some residents about Brandon’s upcoming Community Sportsplex. Inclement weather that saw about 18 centimetres of snow fall in Brandon on Sunday resulted in limited attendance, and unlike what has usually been the case during past meet and greets. The city is looking to do more open house events in the future.
