Woman’s licence suspended

Brandon police officers issued an immediate roadside prohibition to a 43-year-old woman after she failed two roadside breath tests on Sunday evening.

At 10:34 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle in the 1300 block of Richmond Avenue. Police say after failing the breath test twice, the woman was given a 90-day driver’s licence suspension.

Outstanding warrant

A 42-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning when police discovered he was the subject of an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

At 1:49 a.m., Brandon police officers were in the 1200 block of Victoria Avenue when they came across the 42-year-old man. He was arrested and later released with a notice to appear in court March 10.

Breach of probation

Brandon police officers arrested a 35-year-old man who was wanted for breaching his probation.

At 9:44 p.m. on Sunday, police stopped a vehicle in the 1000 block of Pacific Avenue and report that a 35-year-old man who was a passenger had an outstanding warrant. He was arrested and released with a court date of March 10.

Stolen vehicle recovered

A 2021 Dodge Charger that was reported stolen Jan. 14 from Brandon’s Kirkcaldy Heights neighbourhood has been recovered in Ontario.

Brandon police say the car was stolen from a visitor’s parking lot on Kingston Place. The car’s doors were locked, and the keys were not inside the vehicle.

The vehicle was recovered in Brampton, Ont., on Feb. 9, and the owner has been contacted.
