FAILED BREATHALYZER TEST

A 21-year-old male was arrested after police received reports of someone driving in circles in a parking lot on Queens Avenue.

Early Thursday morning, a witness reported seeing a vehicle driving in circles in a lot on the 1100 block of Queens Avenue. The report came in after 1 a.m., leading police to ask the driver for a breathalyzer test.

The 21-year-old man failed two breath tests, police say. Police had the vehicle towed, and the driver was arrested and held in detention cells until sober.

TEEN SURRENDERS AT THE STATION

A 14-year-old girl surrendered on Wednesday at Brandon Police Service headquarters.

Police say the girl knew there was a warrant out for her arrest, but did not provide information about the reasons for her arrest warrant.

The teen was released with a notice to appear in court next month.

ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

Police reported that on Wednesday and Thursday, officers executed multiple outstanding warrants of arrest.

The warrants included a 57-year-old man who had been charged with theft under $5,000, a 40-year-old woman who was breaking curfew, a 42-year-old woman who broke probation and a 24-year-old man, although police did not provide information about his warrant.
