Brandon Police Service says the body of Jeffrey Floresco, a 39-year-old Brandon man who was reported missing last November, has been found.

“The investigation has determined there was no foul play, and the circumstances are not considered suspicious,” BPS said in a release early Monday morning on its Facebook page.

Floresco was last seen on surveillance camera on Nov. 21, 2024, at about 6 a.m. in the 400 block of Rosser Avenue in the city’s downtown.

Family and friends conducted searches by trying to retrace his last known route and issued pleas on their social media pages, asking the public to be on the lookout for Floresco.

In December, the Hutterian Emergency Aquatic Response Team (HEART) conducted two searches in its amphibious air boat, hugging the shoreline of the Assiniboine River east and west of the First Street bridge.

In its Monday morning release, BPS stated, “Our deepest sympathies go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

“We sincerely thank the public for their support and assistance throughout the investigation.”
