Dominic Hétu of the Department of Francophone Studies and Languages at BU is facilitating a French conversation group this summer at the Westman Regional Library Downtown Branch. The sessions, which are free and open to all will take place this Tuesday, as well as on June 24, July 8, July 22 and August 5.

Brandon Pride presents Drag History with Flora Hex on Wednesday, from 7 to 8:45 p.m., in the Gathering Space of the John E. Robbins Library. Come and learn the origins of the art form now known as drag, how it has developed through time, how it has changed the world and what might be next.

Mini University features eight weeks of summer camps for youth from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Mini U will begin for the summer on June 30. For more information, including the registration guide, visit MiniU.BrandonU.ca.

Registration is open for this summer’s Bobcats Summer Sports Camps. A series of weekly basketball and volleyball camps, focusing on various skills and for students from Grades 4 to 12 will take place beginning on July 28 and running throughout August. More information is available at GoBobcats.ca.

The 10th annual Cougars Classic golf tournament — presented by RFNow — will be held June 19th at the Shilo Golf and Country Club. This event connects Assiniboine alumni and community supporters with the goal to raise funds for Cougars Athletics student awards. These funds can reduce barriers to education and sport.
