Portage la Prairie RCMP arrested a man accused of walking around Dakota Tipi First Nation with a gun and pointing it at passing vehicles.
RCMP were called at around 11:30 a.m. on Friday and officers started patrolling the community immediately.
Shortly after, officers found a man who matched the description of the suspect and arrested him without incident, police said in a news release on Monday.
Taren Pashe, 33, from Dakota Tipi First Nation was brought into custody and charged with pointing a firearm, using an imitation firearm in the commission of an offence and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Portage la Prairie RCMP continues to investigate.
