Brandon Police Service is investigating after a shot was fired in the city’s downtown on Wednesday morning.
BPS received a call at 8:47 a.m. that one shot was fired in the 900 block of Rosser Avenue, police told the Sun in an email.
No injuries were reported.

As of Wednesday afternoon, police had made no arrests and said they are actively searching for a suspect.
Brandon Sun staff observed police taking photos outside of an apartment building on Rosser between Ninth and 10th streets.
People in the area told the Sun the shot was fired inside the apartment building and went through two rooms.
Staff also saw multiple cadets and officers searching through garbage outside of a dumpster in an alley north of the 900 block of Rosser Avenue.
BPS said the incident is under investigation and there is no threat to public safety.
