Seven people are vying for a single seat on the Brandon School Division Board of Trustees in next month’s byelection.

Laura Armitage, Michael Grantham, Bonnie-Lynn Mills, Shawna Mozdzen, Eren Oleson, Himanshu Shah and Henry Sieklicki have filed their papers and met the nomination requirements, the senior election official announced Thursday.

The Oct. 16 byelection was triggered after Ward 1 trustee Blaine Foley resigned in March. Ward 1 takes in the City of Brandon.
