More than 500 homes east of Brandon were without power for several hours Monday afternoon.
Manitoba Hydro’s website said 508 customers were affected by an “equipment problem” in and around Chater, Meadowbrook Village and the western edge of Cottonwood, starting at 1:29 p.m.
Power was restored by about 7 p.m.
Lights in homes of some areas were flickering half an hour before power went out.
