The City of Brandon’s hydration stations are set to close for the season on Thursday.

City crews will collect the two stations that are connected to fire hydrants, as temperatures start to cool down.

The two stations were set up near the Eighth Street bus mall and at the corner of Seventh Street and Rosser Avenue.

“These stations have served as a valuable resource throughout the warmer months, helping our community stay refreshed and hydrated,” the city said in a news release.

A city spokesperson said they didn’t know if the stations would return to the same spots when they are reinstalled next spring.
