Resisting arrest
Brandon Police Service arrested a man on Saturday for allegedly assaulting another man and resisting arrest.
BPS received a report of an assault in the 200 block of Eighth Street at around 4:45 p.m. after witnesses saw a man slap another man in the face, police said in a news release.

Officers arrested the 39-year-old man and charged him with assault. After being arrested, he allegedly became combative with police and was also charged with resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.
The other man, 34, was also arrested for breaching a condition of his undertaking by communicating with the other man.
Both men were released and will appear in court at a later date.
Teens assaulted
Two women were arrested after they allegedly assaulted two teens on Saturday.
Brandon Police Service received multiple calls reporting a disturbance and possible assault at a residence on Westaway Bay at around 5:30 p.m.
Officers determined that two women, ages 46 and 47, had assaulted two teens in the residence, BPS said in a news release.
The women were arrested and held in custody while police investigated further.
Residential break-in
A woman was arrested after she allegedly broke into a residence on Friday.
Brandon Police Service received a report of a possible break-in at a residence on the 200 block of Princess Avenue at around 8:30 p.m.
Police found a 24-year-old woman hiding in the residence and believed she entered through the window, BPS said in a news release.
Officers arrested the woman and held her in custody.
