• 10 a.m. — The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba presents its annual Gala of Gifts, fine art and craft sale with handmade products from local artists and artisans from Brandon and the Westman area. • Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum (CATPM) (Brandon Municipal Airport, Highway 10, 1.6 kilometres north of Brandon) — Canada’s only air museum solely dedicated to the preservation of those who trained and fought for the British Commonwealth during the Second World War. • Dec. 4-6 — A Mecca Production of “Disney’s Frozen: The Broadway Musical” will take place at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium nightly at 7 p.m. as well as at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Dec. 6. • Dec. 4-7 — Brandon University Theatre presents “Mother Courage and her Children” at the Evans Theatre. Bertolt Brecht’s dark, comedic anti-war play, with music, is directed by Rochelle Douris. • Dec. 5 — The CPKC Holiday Train is on the move and will be hitting the Westman area with stops at Neepawa between 2:30 and 3 p.m. at Railway Street between Mountain Avenue and Currie Avenue; Minnedosa between 4-4:30 p.m. at 30 Second Avenue Northwest; Shoal Lake between 7 and 7:45 p.m. at North Railway Avenue. These stops will feature an outdoor concert right from the train’s stage featuring performances from Jade Eagleson and Teigen Gayse. Attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or a cash donation.
• Dec. 5 — CWE Live Rumble to Remember Tour in Sioux Valley First Nation at the Sioux Valley Elementary School with a 7 p.m. bell time. Featuring WWE star Austin Aries and over the top rope battle royal! Doors open at 6 p.m. Tickets at cwetickets.com.
• Dec. 5 — The Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation presents Holiday Pancake Breakfast at Murray Chevrolet Cadillac Buick GMC (1500 Richmond Ave,) from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Pick-up or sit-down. Minnedosa Library Christmas Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Santa Day at the Hall from 1 to 3 p.m.; donate non-perishable food, meet Santa, kids crafts, hot cocoa and cookies and sleigh rides; Miracle on Main Street, make a purchase at participating business and get a ballot for entry to win $500 in Minnedosa money; United Church Tea and Bake Sale from 2-4 p.m.; Jingle Jam on Ice, public skate with music and lights from 3:30-4:30 p.m.; Santa Parade at 6 p.m.; Heritage Village Memory Lights at 7 p.m. with hot cocoa, fireworks and Christmas Caroles and lighting of the Memory Tree.

• Dec. 6 — Santa Land is coming to Brandon at the Community Sportsplex! Join us in the Multi-purpose Room at 30 Knowlton Drive and say hello to Santa and snap a picture with him. There will be a variety of stations to try out: cookie decorating, hot chocolate bar, Christmas crafts and a Holiday Storytime with the Western Manitoba Regional Library. • Dec. 7 — A holiday classic comes to the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium stage with the presentation of “A Charlie Brown Christmas 60th Anniversary Celebration with the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra and all the heart that makes this story so special.
