A 45-year-old man died after an electric scooter collision in Minnedosa on Tuesday.
Minnedosa RCMP were notified of an injured man on Third Avenue Northwest at around 4 p.m.
When officers arrived, they found the man laying on the road with an electric scooter nearby, RCMP said in a news release on Wednesday.
Emergency medical services treated the man at the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where he later died, the release said.
Through an investigation, Mounties determined that the man was riding on his scooter on Third Street Northwest and lost control, resulting in him colliding with the roadway, police said.
Mounties said the man was not wearing a helmet.
Minnedosa RCMP continues to investigate.
