The Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra has postponed its show in Brandon Wednesday evening due to the threat of dangerous driving conditions.
The WSO will return to Brandon for its holiday tour on March 1, which was the next date available for the group to perform at the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium, according to a news release from the auditorium on Wednesday afternoon.
Tickets for the evening show can be used for the new date. Ticketholders who are unable to attend the postponed show in March can contact the auditorium box office by Feb. 2 to for a refund.
An administration fee of up to $3.68 per ticket can not be refunded according to the auditorium’s policy, the release said.
The holiday tour will feature Mendelssohn’s radiant Symphony No. 4, Italian and more.
