RCMP have recovered an estimated $150,000 worth of stolen goods from a property outside of Brandon.

Brandon RCMP received a report on Nov. 3 that between the evening of Oct. 31 and the morning of Nov. 1, several pieces of construction equipment were stolen from an area north of Brandon, RCMP said in a news release Thursday.

Officers found a stolen skid steer on a property near Provincial Road 270 and Road 87 West and arrested a man and woman, the release said.

Brandon RCMP and police dog services searched the property and found more stolen items, including a snowmobile, utility trailer, boat and boat trailer, various construction signs and a golf cart, Mounties said.

Police said they believe the recovered items totalled roughly $150,000 and were stolen from properties in and around Brandon dating as far back as 2021.

Gary Dyck, 45, and Jeanine Emond, 42, both from the RM of North Cypress-Langford, are each charged with 11 counts of possessing property obtained by crime over $5,000.

Both were taken into custody, and officers are working on returning the property to their rightful owners.
