The Brandon Police Service is asking the public for information on a stabbing that took place in the city last month.

A 25-year-old man was stabbed in the abdomen on Cornell Bay at around 4:15 a.m. on Dec. 27, 2025, BPS said in a social media post on Friday.

Police said emergency medical services transported the victim to the hospital in critical condition.

The stabbing remains under investigation, and BPS asked that anyone with information relating to it contact its non-emergency line at 204-729-2345 or Crime Stoppers at 204-727-TIPS (8477).

Tips can also be submitted online through the Crime Stoppers wesbite.

“All tips remain anonymous. Tipsters whose information leads to the solution of a crime may be eligible for a financial reward of up to $2,000,” the post said.
