Firefighter/paramedics gave a tour of Brandon Fire Emergency Services Hall No. 1 on 19th Street to children and parents in the Northlight Learning Collective homeschooling group on Thursday.

The group was led through the entire hall, and children were able to ask questions and get up-close looks at the fire trucks, ambulances and other equipment.

The Northlight Learning Collective will be holding an open house for anyone interested in the group at Sylvan Learning of Westman in the Brandon Shoppers Mall on Jan. 31 at 2 p.m. More information can be found on the group’s Facebook page. (Tim Smith/The Brandon Sun)
