The centre will continue operating at its current location until Thursday and will temporarily close for about a week starting Friday to accommodate the move.

During the closure period, riders can still purchase Transit Smart Cards at city hall (410 Ninth St.), Sobeys West End (3409 Victoria Ave.), Safeway (Corral Centre) and Sobeys South (1570 18th St.)

A comprehensive assessment of the centre was completed in 2024, identifying the need for substantial repairs to ensure sustainable long-term operations.

Following a detailed analysis, it was determined that relocating the centre to a nearby location would be the most cost-effective and practical solution.

The centre, which serves as the main customer service hub for Brandon Transit, provides riders with access to route information, transit schedules, fare details and general support regarding transit services.
