Spruce Plains RCMP arrested a Minnedosa man over the weekend after he allegedly pointed a gun and threatened to shoot two people.

The two males then left the home.
RCMP arrested one of the men at a home in Minnedosa about 20 minutes later, the release said.
Officers later found and seized a replica firearm, homemade firearm parts and ammunition from the home.
John Moffat, 26, was charged with pointing a firearm and uttering threats. He was remanded into custody.
Aggravated assault
A 20-year-old Brandon man has been charged with aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after a woman was stabbed in the chest on Friday night.
Officers on downtown patrol came upon an altercation involving four people outside a bar at 9:45 p.m., police said in a news release. After seeing police, two of the people fled inside.
A 25-year-old woman at the scene told police she had been stabbed in the chest.
Police administered first aid until paramedics arrived. The woman was transported to the hospital and later transferred to the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg. Her chest injury was serious but not life‑threatening, police said.
Officers found the suspect inside the bar. Video evidence allegedly confirmed he was involved and had possessed the knife used in the assault.
The man was arrested and held for court.
Police said the incident is believed to have originated inside the bar between patrons, but it is not known whether the parties were previously acquainted.
Assault with a weapon
Brandon police arrested a 20-year-old woman for allegedly striking her 19-year-old boyfriend in the head with a glass object early on Sunday morning.
Paramedics requested police assistance at an east- end apartment at 1:35 a.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment, including several stitches, while the suspect was lodged due to her level of intoxication.
She was to be released once sober and issued a court date, police said.
icy road causes rollover
A 19-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle rollover on Saturday evening on 18th Street North in Brandon.
Emergency crews responded to the incident at 10:10 p.m., Brandon police said in a news release.
The driver, who was the only occupant, was not injured.
Alcohol was not a factor, and icy road conditions are believed to have caused the crash, police said.
