Manitoba’s opposition leader is scheduled to appear at two events in Brandon later this week.
Obby Khan, who leads the Progressive Conservatives, will be at the Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba’s President’s Dinner on Thursday evening and at “Breakfast with Obby Khan” on Friday morning.
The breakfast event, hosted by Brandon West MLA Wayne Balcaen as a fundraiser, will include an address from Khan about topics important to the party, Balcaen said.
“We’re hoping to have a great turnout and have robust discussions about what’s happening in the world of the PC Party of Manitoba, and what our leader is envisioning for the future,” Balcaen said Monday.
Doors open at 7:30 a.m. at The Eagles Nest Bar & Grill at the Wheat City Golf Course, with breakfast served at 8 a.m. Tickets can be purchased for $50 at brandonwestpc@gmail.com.
Khan isn’t expected to speak at the dinner on Thursday.
