Manitoba’s Progressive Conservative party has nominated two sitting Westman MLAs to run in the next provincial election.
The party announced the acclamation of Greg Nesbitt (Riding Mountain), Colleen Robbins (Spruce Woods) and Josh Guenter (Borderland) in a statement Tuesday afternoon.
Nesbitt has served as an MLA in Riding Mountain since 2016. Robbins narrowly beat out an NDP candidate to win her seat in a byelection last August. Guenter has served since 2019.
The PCs had previously announced the nominations of several other MLAs, including Lauren Stone (Midland), Derek Johnson (Interlake-Gimli), Konrad Narth (La Vérendrye) and Kathleen Cook (Roblin).
The next provincial election is scheduled for October 2027.
