AgWest Ltd. has been recognized as one of the top-performing farm equipment dealerships across the continent, earning a spot in AGCO Corporation’s Circle of Excellence for 2025.
The recognition places AgWest 15th among AGCO dealerships across North America, marking the second consecutive year the company has received the honour.
AgWest is an agricultural equipment dealer with branches in Brandon and seven locations across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

The feat reflects the dedication of the company’s employees, chief executive officer Neil Douglas told the Sun on Friday.
“Our sales, parts and service teams work extremely hard to support farmers across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, especially during very demanding seasons,” he said in an email.
“It’s something the entire organization can take pride in.”
The Circle of Excellence program highlights dealerships that demonstrate strong performance in areas such as customer service, operational excellence and overall support for farmers.
The ranking is a sign that the dealership’s approach to serving customers is working, the company’s AGCO business manager Tiger Allard told the Sun.
“I think it means we are doing the right things and headed in a positive direction,” Allard said. “It shows that the dedicated efforts from all of our staff is appreciated in the marketplace.”
He said AgWest’s strategy has remained simple.
“Our focus is always customer service excellence. If we can serve our customers in a way that they want to do business with AgWest, the results will follow,” he said.
Douglas said strong service support is essential in the farm equipment industry, where downtime during seeding or harvest can have significant consequences.
“Performance in our industry ultimately comes down to how well you support farmers when they need you most,” he said.
“Our focus has been on strengthening our service capacity, improving parts availability, and making sure our teams have the training and tools they need to keep equipment running during critical times like seeding and harvest.”
Both AgWest leaders said the recognition reflects the dealership’s relationship with Prairie farmers.
“Our customers are everything,” Allard said. “We don’t exist without those partnerships we’ve had the pleasure of cultivating. The recognition of this reward is just proof that we are on the right track, but we still need to focus on the details that create a great customer experience.”
Douglas said Prairie producers play a key role in the company’s growth and success.
“Dealership recognition like this only happens because of the farmers we work with,” he said. “Prairie producers operate some of the most advanced and demanding farming operations in the world, and they expect their equipment partners to keep up. The trust those farmers place in AgWest is a big part of why we’ve been able to grow and improve as an organization.”
The company leaders said their focus remains on continuing to improve support for customers. AgWest will continue exploring new technologies and innovations to help staff respond faster to farmers’ needs, Allard said.
“The future is bright, but we can’t take our foot off the gas,” he said. “Maybe it’s adopting new technologies like AI to help us get answers for our technicians and customers faster.”
Douglas said long-term investments are also part of the company’s strategy.
“The new facilities we’re building in Brandon and Russell are good examples of that approach,” he said. “They’re long-term investments designed to improve service capacity and better support the farming communities we work with.”
The company’s priorities remain straightforward: continue strengthening service teams, ensure parts are available when customers need them, and invest in facilities that aid support to modern farming operations, Douglas said.
