Police arrested a man early Thursday morning after a report of gunshots and a suspected bullet hole in a Brandon home.
Members of the Brandon Police Service were sent to the 1300 block of Fifth Street at around 5:10 a.m.
At the home, officers assessed the bullet hole to determine which direction it came from, BPS said in a news release.

Police heard “loud crashing” noises from a neighbouring residence and suspected that’s where the gunshots came from, BPS said.
Officers set up a perimeter around the neighbouring house and called for anyone inside to exit the home.
A man, whom police said was acting erratic and not following directions, came to the front door, and police arrested him.
BPS used a drone to clear the residence before officers entered.
Police found a rifle inside the home, and no one else was inside, BPS said.
The 29-year-old man was held in custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Thursday. BPS couldn’t confirm what charges the man will be facing.
