Mounties arrested an Alberta man during a traffic stop in the Rural Municipality of Sifton that led to the seizure of several kilograms of cocaine.

RCMP Traffic Service pulled over an SUV that was travelling east on Highway 2 at around 4:30 p.m. and took the driver into custody after a compliance check, RCMP said in a news release on Tuesday.

While searching the SUV, police found and seized around 4.5 kg of vacuum-packaged cocaine hidden throughout the vehicle with an estimated street value of $350,000, Mounties said.
