Trio arrested for break-in
Police arrested three Brandon residents in connection with a break and enter into an apartment complex last week.
The Brandon Police Service received a report from the property manager that the apartment complex on McDiarmid Drive had been broken into at around 10:10 p.m. on Thursday.

During the break-in, an inside door was damaged, and a surveillance device was stolen, BPS said in a news release on Monday.
Police said there were also attempts to open the change slots of the laundry machines inside the building.
Police watched surveillance footage and identified three suspects, with some of them being bound by conditions prohibiting communication with each other, BPS said.
On Sunday, a BPS officer who was on patrol saw one of the suspects outside of a hotel on the 3500 block of Victoria Avenue.
When the woman saw the officer, she went inside the building, and police used a drone to find her and a second suspect hiding in a nearby yard, BPS said.
Police arrested the two women, aged 26 and 29.
At around 11:45 p.m. that same day, officers went to a residence on the 1200 block of First Street and found the third suspect.
Police arrested a 36-year-old man and charged him with break and enter with intent and two counts of failing to comply with his undertaking.
BPS charged the 29-year-old woman with break, enter and theft under $5,000, disguise with intent, breaching her release order, breaching her undertaking and possessing break-in instruments.
The 36-year-old and 29-year-old were held in BPS custody overnight and scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Police charged the 26-year-old woman with break and enter with intent. She was subsequently released on an undertaking with a court appearance scheduled in July.
Mail theft
Brandon police arrested a man on Friday in connection with an April break and enter.
A suspect broke into an apartment building on the 600 block of 11th Street on April 30 and proceeded to damage mailboxes and steal mail, the Brandon Police Service said in a news release.
Police identified the suspect through security footage and arrested a 41-year-old man.
The man faces charges of break, enter and theft, mischief under $5,000 and theft from mail.
Concealed weapon
Brandon police arrested a man after responding to a fight on Saturday.
Shortly after 7 a.m., police responded to a report of a fight at a home on the 1600 block of McTavish Avenue.
One of the people involved, a 24-year-old man, was seen throwing a CO2 pistol in the yard, the Brandon Police Service said in a news release.
Police arrested the man and charged him with failing to comply with his probation, carrying a concealed weapon, obstructing a peace officer and not complying with a firearms prohibition.
