Workers from the provincial government’s department of Transportation and Infrastructure were at work on the weekend, making safety improvements to a dangerous intersection.
The intersection at Richmond Avenue East and Highway 110, which was the scene of a fatal crash on May 27, will have four-way stop signs, flashing red lights, digital road message signs, new rumble strips, and speed limit changes, the provincial government said last week. Traffic lights are expected to be activated in the summer.
