Brandon police arrested a 29-year-old woman for theft, mischief and assault with a weapon after she allegedly stole merchandise from a business and threw water bottles at store employees.
Police were called to the business in the 700 block on 10th Street on Sunday around 10:30 p.m. for a report of a woman who stole items before fleeing the area and then returning to the store, police said in a news release on Monday.
When the woman came back, she threw two water bottles at employees, acted erratically and caused damage inside the business, the release said.

Police said she was initially unarmed, but when officers arrived at the business, the woman had picked up a fire extinguisher.
The woman, who police beilieve was under the influence of drugs, was taken to the police detention cells.
Officers also deteremined the woman was wanted on two unendorsed arrest warrants, which were executed once she was sober.
The woman was scheduled to meet with the Crisis Response Unit before appearing in court on Monday morning.
