• 7 a.m. — The Town of Virden comes alive with the return of the Virden Indoor Rodeo and Wild West Daze taking place over the next four days. Today: Valleyview Co-op pancake breakfast at Tundra Oil and Gas at 7 a.m.; high school rodeo at 9 a.m.; barbecue at Victoria Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; show and shine 5-8 p.m.; Downtown Daze featuring reptile petting zoo, mechanical bull, kids activities, live music by JJ Voss, Virden’s Got Talent, Grey Cup tour featuring games and giveaways, and much more all from 5 to 10 p.m.

• 7 p.m. — Music in the Park Thursdays at the Kenton Community Bandstand features Kayla Luky at 7 p.m. This is also an open mic night so come and share your talent. Bring a lawn chair and bug spray.

• 8 a.m. — Canada’s National Arabian Championship 2026 continues at the Keystone Centre featuring up to 300 horses across all Arabian and Half Arabian disciplines. • 7:30 a.m. — Join us at the 138th annual Glenboro Agricultural Fair and Demolition Derby held at the Glenboro Community Hall and Fairgrounds. Admission for 12 and up is $10; children under 12 are free. There will be a pancake breakfast at 7:30 a.m., miniature horse show, prancing pony petting zoo, inflatable waterslides, children’s activities, corn maze, farmers market and displays. Artifacts include a collection of late 19th-century and early 20th-century furnishings, First World War memorabilia. Daly House, in partnership with Keywest Photo Images by Design, present Between the Cold: Prairie Light for a Wheat City, a photographic exhibit that explores the spaces that define Prairie life — not the extremes, but the intervals that exist between them. • Rural Arts Westman — Rural Arts Westman (RAW) public art exhibition RE/Fenestration has transformed the vacant storefront windows of Brandon’s Town Centre (800 Rosser Ave.) into a walk-through exhibition featuring the work of 15 regional artists. The project reimagines a public space as a place for creativity, reflection and community, inviting visitors to experience contemporary art in an unexpected setting. Exhibition runs until Nov. 28.
