A youth has been charged with mischief under $5,000 after a business in Swan River was damaged on Monday.
Swan River RCMP were notified of damage to a business on Fifth Avenue North at around 9 a.m., Mounties said in a news release on Tuesday.
Police arrived at the scene to find the front door of the business had been smashed with a brick found inside the doorway, RCMP said.
Mounties were able to identify the suspect through security footage from a nearby business.
A 17-year-old from Keeseekoose First Nation in Saskatchewan was arrested without incident, police said.
He was released into the care of an adult and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
