Hummingbird Community Garden at 26th Street and Maryland Avenue in Brandon held its annual Stone Soup Day on Thursday, created with vegetables from some of the over 400 garden plots that make up the community garden during an event.
The concept is based on a European folk tale. Members of the community garden offered vegetables from their gardens to add to the soup and many also brought baked goods and other treats for the community meal.
