Man wanted by police

Police are searching for 24-year-old Tyler Shane Myran, who is accused in a March 3 stabbing.

He was allegedly involved in a fight with another man in the 800 block of Pacific Avenue. Police say he reportedly stabbed the other man “several times,” which caused serious injuries.

The accused allegedly fled before police arrived and his location is unknown.

Police investigate business break-in

Police are investigating a weekend break-in to a business.

Sometime between March 5-6, police say a business was broken into on the 300 block of Park Avenue East.

A suspect smashed a window to get in, according to police, and stole a small amount of change. There are currently no suspects, but the incident is under investigation.

Stabbing on Sixth Street

Police are investigating after a man was allegedly stabbed on Wednesday night.

At approximately 9:30 p.m., police responded to a report of an intoxicated man in the 400 block of Sixth Street who was standing in traffic.

Officers found the 34-year-old man, who was allegedly the victim of a stabbing, had non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported to hospital.

Hammer drill stolen from shed

Police are investigating after a shed was reported broken into on Wednesday.

Police say suspects entered the shed on the 1400 block of 22nd Street through an unlocked door on March 2.

Once inside, they reportedly stole a Milwaukee brand hammer drill worth more than $1,000.

Charged with resisting arrest

A man was charged with resisting arrest after he was found licking the ground on Wednesday.

The man left a business on the 200 block of 18th Street North, police say, and began behaving erratically by licking the ground.

When officers arrived they found the 39-year-old man was wanted under an arrest warrant. They tried to arrest him, but he resisted and refused to comply, police say.

He was charged with resisting arrest and failing to comply with probation. He is scheduled to appear in court on June 2.

Stolen vehicle recovered

Police are investigating after a stolen vehicle was found on Wednesday.

The 2008 Grey Kia Rondo was found by a family member of the owner in a parking lot in the 800 block of 18th Street North, according to police. It was towed for further examination.
