Two people were taken to hospital for non-serious injuries following a three-vehicle collision this morning.

Brandon Fire and Emergency Services (BFES) received a call for a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of First Street and Richmond Avenue at 7:57 a.m.

Four people were involved in the incident and Lt. Doug Wheatland of BFES said the vehicles, two cars and a pick-up truck, had significant damage.

Wheatland said no one was removed from the vehicles using the Jaws of Life.

First responders secured the scene by blocking off a portion of the intersection and spreading sand over areas where vehicle fluid had spilled.

Tow trucks came to remove the vehicles and emergency crews left the scene by 8:30 a.m.
