UPDATED at 10:51 p.m.
Valley View Condominiums, located at 1400 Pacific Ave. in downtown Brandon, went up in flames Tuesday evening around 9 p.m. As of 10:55 p.m. Brandon firefighters were on scene as the fire continued to burn.
The Brandon Police Service is requesting all evacuees to find shelter at the Salvation Army Church, located at 9 Princess Ave. East. BPS is also warning bystanders to stay away from the site due to the potential danger of the fire.
It’s the second fire at the building in less than a week. Local firefighters extinguished a third-floor blaze last Friday afternoon.
More details to come.
