A woman was sent to hospital with serious head injuries on Tuesday after being hit by a truck at 18th Street and Queens Avenue.
The 56-year-old woman was walking east across 18th Street just before 9 a.m. when a woman driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado turned northbound onto 18th Street and struck her.
The pedestrian was transported to a Winnipeg hospital, where she remains in stable condition.
Members of the BPS Traffic Unit and an Accident Collision Analyst continue to investigate. A determination of what charges, if any, will be made after the evidence is examined and the investigation is completed.
