Brandon police charged four people who allegedly kept a man captive and assaulted him over the course of last week.

On Friday at approximately 6 a.m., police responded to a report a man was assaulted and had serious but non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.

An investigation by the Brandon Police Service Major Crimes Unit found a 25-year-old man was allegedly forcibly held against his will by four people at a residence on the 300 block of 11th Street.

The area is a block south of the Brandon courthouse and contains mainly houses. No police presence was visible Monday afternoon.

Police say he was held there from Monday to Friday of last week. They released him Friday. The four people allegedly repeatedly assaulted him with a variety of weapons, including a hair flat iron, edged weapons, a bike chain and solid wooden objects, police say.

He was treated at the hospital for his injuries.

Ieesha MacDonald, 23, Cody Wood, 23, and Robert Creasy, 56, were arrested and charged with forcible confinement, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and robbery. The charges have not been tested in court.

All three appeared briefly in court Monday and are scheduled to appear in court again Thursday. No details on the alleged incident came up in court.

Police have an arrest warrant for 26-year-old Sebastian Longclaws, who is charged with forcible confinement, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and robbery.
