The final person charged in an alleged forcible confinement incident in January was arrested Sunday.
Sebastian Longclaws reportedly turned himself in with the assistance of family members Sunday, according to police. At the time, he had been under an outstanding arrest warrant since January.
Longclaws is accused of helping to hold a man captive and assault him over the course of a week in January, according to police.
An investigation by the Brandon Police Service Major Crimes Unit found a 25-year-old man was forcibly held against his will by four people at a residence on the 300 block of 11th Street, police said in January. He was held there over the course of five day.
The four people charged in the incident allegedly repeatedly assaulted him with various weapons, including a hair flat iron, edged weapons, a bike chain and solid wooden objects, police say.
He was treated in hospital for his injuries.
Longclaws was charged with forcible confinement, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and robbery. Longclaws is scheduled to appear in court in early June.
Ieesha MacDonald, Cody Wood and Robert Creasy were all arrested and charged in the incident. They are all scheduled to appear in court over the course of the coming weeks.
