A casting call has been put out looking for aspiring Indigenous actors and actresses for a Netflix movie being filmed in Manitoba.

The post-apocalyptic movie, “How it Ends” — starring Forest Whitaker, Grace Dove and Theo James — will be filming in Brandon throughout the August long weekend, a local radio station reported on Thursday.

Next! Casting is looking for Indigenous people to be paid background performers in the film from Aug. 6-8.

Anyone interested is asked to email a photo of themselves to howitendsbg@gmail.com or nextcasting@shaw.ca with the subject line “HIE Indigenous talent/your name (age).”

In the body of the email, state your name, age, contact number, your availability and if you are submitting any family members or friends.
