Calgary-based tech-death metal band Widow’s Peak will be playing the Park Community Centre in Brandon on Sept. 19.
Their visit to town is part of the “Crusty Cross Canada Cruise Tour” in support of the five-piece band’s 2018 EP “Graceless.”
“While many metal bands find inspiration from supernatural sources, myths and legends, Widow’s Peak find influence from true-life horror, from the depths of cruelty, terror and pain that man(un)kind so readily descends to,” a release put out by the band said.
The Brandon show is the second-to-last show on a tour that started in Calgary on July 26 and visited every province except for Newfoundland and Labrador.
