The following is a rundown of the hours of operation at various local businesses and services this weekend.

The list is far from complete. If you want your service or business to be included in the Sun’s next holiday hours listing, email your hours of operation a few days in advance to reporter Colin Slark at cslark@brandonsun.com, with “Holiday Hours” in the subject line.

CITY OF BRANDON

• Brandon City Hall (410 Ninth St.), the A.R. McDiarmid Civic Complex (638 Princess Ave.), the Municipal Cemetery Office, the Park Complex (2020 McGregor Ave.) and the Civic Services Complex (900 Richmond Ave. East) will be closed.

• Brandon Transit will run conventional transit from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m with Brandon Access Transit running the same hours. The Transit On-Demand service will not be running and the Transit Information Center will be closed.

• The Eastview Landfill will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., but the household hazardous waste depot, material recovery facility and ECO centre will all be closed.

• Brandon’s Community Sportsplex: open from noon to 6 p.m.

• Brandon’s Youth Centre: open from 1 to 9 p.m.

GROCERY STORES

• The Real Canadian Superstore (920 Victoria Ave.): open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

• Sobeys Extra Brandon South (1645 18th St.): open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

• Sobeys Brandon West (3409 Victoria Ave.): open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

• The Co-op Marketplace (1035 Richmond Ave.): open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pharmacy will be closed, but the Co-op gas bars and the Western Nations Gas Bar will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• The Corral Centre Safeway: open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

• The Corral Centre Walmart Supercentre: open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.

LIQUOR

• Brandon’s three full Liquor Mart locations and the Liquor Mart Express: open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

• Beer Warehouse (Victoria Inn, 3550 Victoria Ave.): open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

• The 40 (210 18th St.): open 11 a.m. until 7 p.m.

CLINICS

No medical clinics will be open on Victoria Day.

PHARMACIES

• With too many pharmacies to list, it would be best that one contacts their business of choice to find out their weekend hours. Brandon’s two Shoppers Drug Marts (139 Victoria Ave. East and 1570 18th St.) are known for keeping holiday hours. On this holiday, the Victoria Avenue location will be open from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and the 18th Street location from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.

OTHER THINGS TO DO

• The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum: open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

• Shoppers Mall: open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
