The City of Brandon is postponing Winter Fest 2021 due to frigid temperatures forecasted this week.
Outdoor activities were planned around the Sportsplex on Wednesday, but director of parks and recreation services Perry Roque said the decision was made Monday morning to postpone it until a later date.
Environment Canada projects the temperature to be -27 C on Wednesday.
Winter Fest was set to feature sleigh rides, story trail hikes and snowshoe and ski rentals.
Roque said the city is unsure when activities will be rescheduled.
