STARS was dispatched to Brandon Friday afternoon, as shown in this photo shared on Twitter by the service’s director of fundraising, Colleen Mayer. Mayer’s post stated that the helicopter landed on First Street North to pick up a patient after an ambulance broke down. The Sun reached out to STARS and local emergency responders, but no further information was immediately available. (Twitter)
