Brandon-Westman Christmas Cheer volunteers packed up Christmas hampers on Friday afternoon at the organization’s Rosser Avenue office in preparation for the start of hamper deliveries on Monday. The organization is still looking for volunteer drivers to help with deliveries of 1,100 hampers next week. If you’re unable to volunteer your time, however, perhaps consider a donation for the Fill the Bus Campaign which starts today at Sobeys West. From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. a City of Brandon Transit bus will be parked in the grocery store parking lot, accepting non-perishable food and toy donations for the Christmas Cheer Registry. If you miss donating today, the bus will also be parked at Safeway in the Corral Centre on Dec. 2.
