The Western Hockey League handed out its monthly awards on Thursday.
The player of the month for December is 19-year-old Calgary Hitmen forward Oliver Tulk of Gibsons, B.C., who led all skaters with five goals and 16 assists for 21 points and a +9 rating.
He has committed to the University of Wisconsin for the 2025-26 season.
The goaltender of the month is 18-year-old Everett Silvertips netminder Raiden LeGall of Morden, who went 4-1-0-0 with a 1.41 goals-against average, a .948 save percentage and one shutout.
He signed with Everett on Nov. 20 after the NCAA rules changed for major junior players, and is committed to Bemidji State University after his WHL career ends.
The rookie of the month is 15-year-old Everett Silvertips defenceman Landon DuPont of Calgary, who led all first-year players with five goals and 11 assists for 16 points.
DuPont is the first defenceman to receive exceptional status to compete in the WHL full-time as a 15-year-old.
