Sloan Stanick is an all-star.

The 21-year-old forward from Rivers was named to the ECHL’s midseason all-star team for the Western Conference in a vote of coaches, team captains, media relations directors and broadcasters. Stanick, 21, finished up his five-year Western Hockey League career last spring with the Prince Albert Raiders and has been skating with the Tahoe Knight Monsters this season.

He has 17 goals and 23 assists with the Knight Monsters, and has played two American Hockey League games with the Henderson Silver Knights.

In 284 regular season and playoff games in the WHL, he had 96 goals, 123 assists, 214 points and 151 penalty minutes.
