Evan Nachtigall set a new course record at Glen Lea Golf Course on Saturday, carding a 60.
Nachtigall, a 24-year-old Brandon who won Golf Manitoba’s men’s amateur championship earlier this summer, tied the previous course record of 61 on Aug. 7. In his record-breaking outing on Saturday, Nachtigall shot a 29 on the front nine and 31 on the back nine, a round witnessed by Ryan McKean and Morley McKean.
The previous mark was set on June 29, 2006 by Ryan Robson.
